Do this again and think about what that means; let it sink in calm 2, 3, 4, 5 and out stress 2, 3, 4, 5.
In the last blog, we talked about identifying the things in life that you value and care for, things that make you happy. I am not perfect, and sometimes I don't make the best decisions and waste time playing the what-if game or, even worse, the I should have game. I don't know about you, but I want to invest my time in things that will bring me peace and joy and add to my life and community.
Repetitively reading positive affirmations in a relaxed, calm state of mind will help you be more intentional and mindful, anchoring the meaning of the affirmation to something in your mind. Eventually, you will remember the full affirmation. Still, even better, you will allow yourself time to do the things that bring your life satisfaction because you have started the habit of being mindful and planning with intention.
Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day; try to make the next best choice.
